CALL TO THE NIGERIAN GOVT TO SAVE MTN CALL CENTRE AGENTS JOBS

To All Call Centre Agents: CR Agents, Apapa CCR, Ikoyi CCR, VGC CCR, Mayfair CCR, Ilorin CCR, Kaduna CCR, Kano CCR –

The time has come for us to defend our Jobs !!!!!!

Please read and circulate...

MTN Group in South Africa has taken a decision to terminate all of us by awarding a contract to a South African Indian owned company to take over from 1st August 2015. An act of Xenophobia.

MTN is making good its threat to sack over 6000 Nigerian employees following the threat to their operations after the Xenophobia actions in South Africa. We CCR agents are the first victims.

An Action against Nigeria: Call Centre agents in MTN South Africa were excluded because of their black empowerment and other interests and MTN Benin Republic was excluded because the Government of Benin republic threatened to withdraw the license of MTN Benin if MTN takes such an action against its people.

If the Government and people of Benin Republic can protect its Citizens by stopping MTN, why can’t our Own Government with MTN in Nigeria having over 50million subscribers stop MTN from taking our Jobs away for doing nothing wrong?

This is a Campaign for all Nigerians: – PLEASE Save our Jobs.

The least MTN can do is to reciprocate the benefits they are getting from Nigeria by keeping us in employment.

In case you don’t know, some of our colleagues have been sacked in the past few weeks for making innocent comments on Xenophobia and now with this decision of MTN Nigeria, all of us will be out of Job by July 2015.

WE MUST STOP THEM !!

CCR Must Unite
MTN Must not be allowed to sack us all

PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS EMAIL TO ALL NIGERIANS

Dangote dumps former beauty queen after she went public with details of their romance

Billionaire businessman Alhaji Aliko Dangote has called off his romantic affair with former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka after she leaked details of their passion for each other to the public claiming they planned to bet married.

Africa's richest man Alhaji Dangote and the 2011 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Sylvia Nduka, have been having a romantic affair for the last two years now. Alhaji Dangote has invested heavily on her Hairline Sylvia’s Hair Gallery and the former beauty queen has even converted to Islam, so she shares the same faith as her future husband.

Sylvia, 24, had once said that her husband has to be about 10 or 12 years older than her but was prepared to settle with the 58 year old Dangote, estimated by Forbes Magazine to be worth $18.5bn.

However, she went too far by leaking details of their romance to the public, which led Alhaji Dangote to call it off.

Highly conservative Alhaji Dangote warns members of his harem against publicity and was said to be enraged when Sylvia went public with their affair. Love-struck Sylvia even went as far as adding Alhaji Dangote’s initials to her Instagram page, calling herself Sylvia Nduka AD.

However, she deleted it after Alhaji Dangote became angry after hearing about it and would not take her calls. It now appears that the affair is dead in the water and the sexy Sylvia will have to look for another heartthrob, although one source close to the couple said the billionaire may forgive her and take her back.

One insider said: “She wanted to be Mrs Dangote so badly and she is willing to do anything but this latest stunt has backfired. Dude won't pick her calls but she is trying hard and very soon he will forgive her because they have something special.

"She lied to him that she was not behind the leak. However, the only problem is that she is just a small fish considering the calibre of women who make up the harem, so she stands no chance.”

Anti- Corruption Group, CACOL asks Okonjo-Iweala to come clean on ECA

A Lagos based anti-corruption body, the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, has challenged the the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to clear air on the controversies surrounding the Excess Crude Account, ECA and publish its details.

It would be recalled that Governors apparently disturbed by dwindled funds accruing to the state from the Federation Account disagreed with the minister over how $20 billion that allegedly accrued to the ECA was spent.

The Minister of Finance dismissed the calls of the Governors stressing that the details of ECA are published every month along with the allocations to the three tiers of the government.

The Executive Chairman of CACOL, Comrade Debo Adeniran, in a statement issued today described ECA as illegal account, adding that verred Nigerians are expecting the details of the controversial account.

The statement read, “In the first instance, the Excess Crude Account is illegal. It is the recklessness of some politicians that necessitated the establishment of the account.

“The Minister of Finance should know that Nigerians could not wait any more to have the full details of the Excess Crude Account, not just for the last four years, but since the inception of this profligate government she oversees its economic team.

“It is a known fact that huge amount of money has been frittered away from the federal coffers by this present administration without anyone being queried or made to face the wrath of the law.

“It is also known this administration’s penchant for lying is so ridiculous that whatever said by any member of the government should be taken with a pinch of salt.

“Hence, we are calling on Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala to make good her promise by making public the details of the ECA as soon as possible.”

He also said Nigerians are “demanding the details of how their governors also used their monthly allocations.

“Nigerians want to know how much is accrued to each state from the Federation and Excess Crude Accounts and how each state expended its own share of the largesse because findings have shown that many of the states do not have much to show for the revenues.”

Buhari receives interim report of Transition Committee

The President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday received the interim report of the Transition Committee set up to assist the newly-elected President to transit smoothly to the Presidency.

The committee was led by its Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Joda.

In his opening remarks before the presentation, Alhaji Joda said the committee received tremendous cooperation from members of the organized private sector (OPS), Nigeria’s international development partners as well as stakeholders from across the country.

Joda said his committee worked hard through four sub- committees to arrive at the interim report, adding however that the report does not have any input from the out-going administration. He was optimistic that the final report of the committee would include the input of the present administration, provided it is made available.

The interim report dealt with issues of good governance namely the executive, legislature and judiciary, finance and economy as well as core sectors like agriculture, oil and gas and solid minerals.

The report also looked at Infrastructure and power and national security.

Similarly, education, health and social welfare which featured in the manifesto of the party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) were also intensely studied and recommendations made.

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari thanked the committee for doing a thorough job and presenting an interim report within the time allocated to it.

Buhari, however, expressed disappointment that ministers and other government leaders were not at hand, so far, to brief the committee but assured that since the bureaucrats who write the reports will be at hand after the departure of the politicians, whatever is there will eventually be known. He requested the Joda-led committee to be in readiness to resume work the moment the outgoing government’s handover notes are received.

Present at the event were APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Chief Bisi Akande, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers.

About Hisbah Sharia police

The implementation of Islamic Sharia Law across the twelve northern states of Nigeria, centres upon Kano, the largest Muslim Husa city, under the feudal, political and economic rule of the Emir of Kano.
Islamic Sharia Law is enforced by official state apparatus including military and police, Islamic schools and education, plus various volunteer Militia groups supported financially and politically by the Emir and other business and political bodies. Fanatical Islamic Sharia religious traditions are enforced by the Hispah Sharia police.

Delinquency is controlled by the Vigilantes volunteer Militia. Activities such as Animist Pagan Voodoo ceremonies, playing music, drinking and gambling, normally outlawed under Sharia law exist as many parts of the rural and urban areas are controlled by local Mafia, ghetto gangs and rural hunters. The fight for control is never ending between the Emir, government forces, the Mafia and independent militias and gangs. This is fueled by rising petrol costs, and that 70% of the population live below the poverty line. Kano, Kano State, Northern Nigeria, Africa.
