Buhari demands probe of how most wanted ISIS terrorist got Nigerian Visa
The Federal Government has ordered a full investigation into how a wanted terrorist, ISIS Emir, Ahmed Al Assir was granted Nigerian visa in Lebanon to visit the country.
It would be recalled that a radical Muslim cleric, Ahmad al-Assir, was arrested by Lebanese authorities as he attempted to leave Lebanon for Nigeria via Cairo.
According to the official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry has been directed to explain how the wanted terrorist was able to get Nigerian visa.
“The reported arrest of the wanted terrorist is a huge embarrassment to Nigeria and the president has directed that the matter should be investigated.

NJC TO PROBE OSUN JUDGE, OLOYEDE OVER ALLEGED HUSBAND- SNATCHING SCANDAL
Following allegation of amorous scandal against a judge in the Osun state Judiciary, Justice Olamide Oloyede, the National Judiciary Council has issued a query of probe.
It would be recalled that the judge initially petitioned the Osun state Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, calling for his removal on the ground of his alleged financial misappropriation.
The NJC issued the query dated July 28, 2015 and with reference number, NJC/S.29/HC.OS/16/1/55, against Justice Oloyede upon a petition by a mother of four, Mrs. Emily Richard-Obire, who accused the judge of co-habiting with her (Richard-Obire’s) husband.
But Emily Richard-Obire had stated in her petition dated July 13, 2015 that she only “recently” discovered that the judge had been having an affair to the detriment of her (Richard-Obire’s) matrimonial home since 2011.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the NJC, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who personally signed the query, directed Justice Oloyede to respond to the query within 14 days of receiving it.
The query reads thus, ‘Re: Petition against Justice Olamide Oloyede of the Osun State Judiciary’ and reads thus, “I forward herewith a petition dated July 13, 2015 against you by one Mrs. Emily Richard-Obire on the above subject matter. The petition speaks for itself.
“I shall be glad to have your comments within 14 days from the date of your receipt of this letter.”
Richard-Obire alleged in her petition that the judge’s relationship with her (the petitioner’s) husband was threatening her 23-year-old marriage which had produced four children, one of whom is suffering from autism and Down’s Syndrome.
In the petition addressed to Justice Mohammed, the petitioner alleged that her husband, Mr. Richard Obire, moved out of their matrimonial home in Lagos since 2011 and often travelled to Osogbo, the Osun State capital to co-habit with the judge.
She said her husband and Justice Oloyode were both adherents to Grail Message and must have met in one of their meetings.
According to her, the relationship between her husband and the judge had got to the extent that the judge’s official car was now in permanent custody of Obire.
The petition read in part, “I am afraid that if something urgent is not done, Justice Oloyede may finally snatch my husband and he may eventually and finally abdicate his responsibilities.
I have evidence to the effect that she has been addressing my husband as her “husband” and also my husband addresses her as “my beautiful wife” knowing full well that there is subsistence of marriage between us.
Marriage crisis: Toyin Aimakhu’s husband speaks up
Since Monday, the media have been awash with the story of the crisis rocking the home of the Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu and and her husband, Adeniyi Johnson.
Few hours ago, Niyi, as the Tinsel star is fondly called, took to his Instagram page to inform the world that he is still in love with his actress wife and ostensibly hopes she knows that he is dying to make things work between them.
The fast-rising actor posted a beautiful picture of his wife and described her as his “woman crush”.
It would be recalled that Toyin earlier in the week deleted pictures of hers with Niyi from her social media page and described herself as Miss Aimakhu, removing the Mrs she used to answer.
This is not the first time their marital crisis would be brought to the public domain.

Crisis rocks Ile-Ife as clans battle over Oba Sijuwade’s successor
The search for a successor in Ile-ife to head the throne of the Late Oba Sijuwade has raised more battle and controversy among clans in the state.
The Ogboru ruling house has rejected plans by the kingmakers to restrict their selection to the Giesi family.
The Ogboru family is contending that the Giesi ruling lineage should blame itself for conceding its turn to produce an Ooni to the late Oba Sijuwade, saying the concession to the late king was to him as an individual and not to the Ogboru clan as a whole.
There are four ruling houses in Ile-Ife – Lafogido, Giesi, Ogboru, and Oshikola.
Oba Sijuwade, who reigned between 1980 and 2015, is of the Ogboru royal lineage.
The Giesi ruling house last produced an occupant to the position – Ooni Derin Ologbenla – between 1880 and 1894.
The other royal houses have also taken turns to produce Obas for the ancient town at various times.
The development has raised the tempo of the contest for the traditional stool, with fears that getting a new traditional ruler for the ancient town may not be tension and crisis-free after all.
Evenry family houses are insisting that its their turn to produce the next Ooni to succeed Mr. Sijuwade, who joined his ancestors on July 28.
He said another memorandum issued by the old Oyo State Government dated September 16, 1980 on the appointment of the Ooni provided for four ruling houses: Osinkola, Ogboru, Giesi and Lafogido in that order but concluded that the order of rotation among the ruling houses should be as follows: “( 1) Osinkola (2) Ogboru (3) Giesi (4) Lafogido.”
“We want all and sundry to please note that the Osinkola House produced our father Oba Adesoji Aderemi who ruled for 50 years in Ile-Ife and was immediately succeeded by Oba Okunade Sijuwade from Ogboru House who has just transited,” he said.
“It then follows that the next ruling house to produce the next Ooni of Ife should automatically and normally come from Giesi Ruling House as the government approved rotational arrangements.”
But a section of the Ogboru ruling house is raising questions about the order in which the families produce the Ooni.
