Kanye West helped out with Scott and Kourtney Kardashian's kids

Kanye West fulfilled parenting duties for one of Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian's kids following their recent split.

The celebrity duo are reported to have ended their nine-year relationship after Scott, 32, was seen getting cosy with an ex-girlfriend in the south of France - and it seems Kanye was happy to step into the breach to take care of their five-year-old son Mason.

The rapper spent July 4th on a yacht with Kim Kardashian, former NBA star Scottie Pippen, his wife, Larsa, and their daughter Sophia.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Kanye took Mason and Sophia to the movies after [his wife] Kim and Larsa went to lunch at Cipriani."

Kourtney - who also has two-year-old daughter Penelope and six-month-old son Reign with her ex - is reported to have left Scott after becoming fed up with his party lifestyle

Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly split from Scott Disick after he was snapped cosying up to Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo, and here we have looked back at the snaps once again.

The reality star, who is rumoured to have once dated the brunette, spent time with her on a luxury yacht in the South of France on Friday, shortly after first being spotted with his arm round her on the beach and at dinner with friends.

From wrapping his arms round her at dinner, to lazing back on sun loungers together - Scott can barely keep his hands to himself as the pair looked very close in the sunny spot.

And now, as rumours continue he's acting single, E! News reports Kourtney has ended the relationship after nine years together.

The snaps on Friday once again showed the twosome getting close as they relaxed in the sun with one another.

Scott was appropriately dressed for a day on the ocean, wearing colourful swim shorts and boat shoes.

Meanwhile his 25-year-old lady friend flaunted her lovely legs in a pair of denim shorts teamed with an oversized grey T-shirt.

As the twosome enjoyed an intimate one-on-one, Scott was also spotted carrying a can of beer.

The sight of the reality star chugging back lager will no doubt arouse concern from his friends.

According to reports, those closest to the 32-year-old have become concerned over his recent antics.

A source told E! News!: "They fear he is out of control and has fallen off the wagon.

"He is partying hard and they are concerned."

This comes after Scott previously revealed that he has 'plans' to go back to rehab.

Earlier this week Scott and Chloe were spotted getting very close after he was reportedly kicked out by Kourtney Kardashian.

The mum-of-three has since made her first public appearance as she ran errands in Los Angeles on Friday.

During her outing it was clear that the brunette beauty was trying to put on a brave face.

Kellie Maloney: I may not have gone through sex change if my Irish dad was still alive

Kellie Maloney has revealed she would never have had the courage to change gender while her Irish father was alive.

The 62-year-old boxing promoter is very proud of her background as her mum 80-year-old mum Maureen was born in Wicklow and her dad Thomas was from Roscrea, Co Tipperary.

But speaking in Dublin yesterday Kellie said she is not sure Thomas would have understood why she had to change and become a woman.

She added: “My mum is a very strong woman. My dad was hardworking and taught us all values but obviously I didn’t tell my dad about the gender issues. I think that was one of my problems, keeping things bottled up for so long.

“I don’t know if he would have understood it because of his background.

“He was a man’s man, he was a great father, he taught us right from wrong. He taught us the importance of working hard and the importance of many things. He taught us everything he didn’t do and I used to say to him, ‘Dad why are you lecturing us because you never did this yourself?’

“And he said, ‘You learn from my mistakes – when you become a parent you can tell your children things to do that you should have done.’ And they were quite true words.”

Kellie said her fears of what her father might think of her meant she kept parts of her life hidden from view.

She revealed: “I had so much respect for my dad that I would have found it very hard. I would have feared seeing him losing that respect for me for what I had achieved in the boxing world.

“But my mother is totally different – she has accepted it and she’s not only my mum she is my best friend. We have been through a lot together and she gives me a lot of help and advice.”

Almost a year after leaving Frank behind to change into Kellie, the boxing promoter says life has changed for the better.

And there is romance on the cards already although Kellie is not sure where it will lead.

She said: “My life is much easier now – it’s much more relaxed and I am very contented.

“I’m not living life anymore pretending to be someone I’m not.”

“I was living a lie, I was trying to be someone I wasn’t and for that reason I didn’t always make the right decisions and I wasn’t always a happiest person to be around. I think I am a better parent now too because I don’t hide anything anymore.”

Sipping on a latte in a Dublin hotel, dressed in sharp cigarette pants and a patterned blouse, Kellie lights up when she talks about enjoying a date or two with actor Lincoln Hudson.

The pair were spotted out last week but it was actually their second meeting and a third is being arranged.

She said: “I went on a date with Lincoln last week and he has asked me out again. And I have said yes. But at the moment they are just dates.

“For me it is very hard - because of what I have been through and the sort of baggage I am carrying. And also I am a very public figure so the person I go out with would have to be a very strong character.

“I am instantly recognisable and I draw attention so I would have to be able to trust that person because I would be opening up to them and I would need to be able to lean on that person emotionally.”

And as yet Kellie is not sure about who she will be attracted to, if anyone.

And as yet Kellie is not sure about who she will be attracted to, if anyone.

She said: “It could be a man it could be a woman I don’t know – this journey is not about my sexuality, it’s about my gender. But now that I have found myself I am still on a journey because I have to discover my sexuality or even to see if I want to have a sexual relationship.

“I am quite happy going out to dinner and being wined and dined, being paid compliments. It’s nice.

“Will it develop into a relationship? I don’t know and that’s the truth.

“I find him very good company, I find him easy to go out with.

“He contacted me through Facebook telling me he was a big boxing fan and saying I was very brave. We met in private at my house to have coffee at first and then he sent me a text and asked me to dinner.”

Kellie said her one mistake was choosing a very well-known spot for dinner.

She said: “He let me choose the restaurant and I thought it would be nice to choose one that I used to go to as Frank a lot. I think that was my mistake – next time I will choose somewhere a bit quieter.”

But Kellie said she still compares other men to Frank who looked after himself well.

She revealed: “Frank was quite charismatic and flamboyant. He looked after himself and when I look at men I think, ‘You don’t visit the gym too much, you don’t dress too smartly’.

“I actually judge people on the standards of Frank. But Lincoln’s a decent looking guy.” Frank had great success in the world of boxing but Kellie said Darren Sutherland’s death was one of her darker moments.

She added: “I think that was one of the saddest days of my life and also for the Sutherland family - I have a lot of respect for them and that is why I don’t want to talk about the subject.”

Kellie has written a book about her own experiences, Frankly Kellie, and now she is hoping to repeat Frank’s success in the world of sport, as well as taking on a few other projects. She said: “I have just gone back into boxing – where Frank would have jumped into the water to sink or swim Kellie is just putting her toes in.

“I would like to try and prove that anything I acheived before I can do again as Kellie.

“I might not produce a world champion but if I can produce a champion of some kind I will be very happy.

“I have been asked to do a couple of TV shows but I want to help people to understand the transexual issue.

“It is not about your sexuality it is about your gender. It is two different things.

“My gender is who I go to bed as and my sexuality is who I wake up in bed with. And at this point no one has been in my bed yet so I don’t know my sexuality.” And Kellie reckons going through her transition from Frank to her new life in such a public way has also helped her come to terms with it.

She said: “I think it has helped me get through my crises and made people aware of the transexual issue in a good way. People have seen that I am just a normal person.

“I know in about six months’ time my fame will have faded and I will be able to live a normal life.

Man killed by alligators after mocking the creatures before jumping into river full of them

A man has been killed by an alligator just moments after he mocked the animals for daring to interfere with his swim.

Tommie Woodward and an unnamed woman were swimming in a bayou in Burkart's Marina in Louisiana on Friday.

The 28 year old was warned that the deadly animals were in the water, but it didn't stop him jumping in.

Orange County Justice of the Peace Rodney Price told KDFM that Woodward didn't heed warnings from nearby people and ignored clear signposting about the dangers in the water.

"He removed his shirt, removed his billfold ... someone shouted a warning and he said 'blank the alligators' and jumped in to the water. He was quickly attacked by the alligator and didn't survive his injuries.'

MARRIAGES ARE CRASHING BECAUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA - BETTY IRABOR

These days of the social media is an era when ladies think they know everything and the guys too are not yet in a hurry to completely loose their place and position as expected in a proper African home.

Publisher of Genevieve Magazine, Mrs. Betty Irabor, after taking a survey round to understand why several of the marriages in the 2000s are crashing, has warned married couples to be weary of information they share on social media as it is now one of the major cause of marriage failures.

Marriages experience issues but once you bring it on social media for all to know, you're killing it.

Cautioning young couples to stop posting stuffs about their challenges in marriage on any social median platform, she said: “Blame social media for most of the marriage breakup we see today. What can usually be settled in private (among the couples) is not given any chance to fix itself.”

She recalled that on the day couples are taking the oath, they are always warned not to allow third party into their affairs which use to be their mother-in-law but now it has turned to social media.

Mrs. Betty Irabor warned ladies, especially celebrities to try and keep their marriage life out of the public glare as most misunderstanding could be worked out but once it has been brought to the front burner, the opportunity for a remedy is almost impossible.

“Ladies should lock out social media from their private affairs. Live your marriage behind closed doors. Marriages have issues but most can be worked out but for the meddlesomeness of social media and it’s over sensationalism of lovers tiffs,” she wrote.

I guess it's couples who lack proper training that think posting their issues on social media is the best thing to do.

SEUN KUTI LASHES NIGERIANS’ OBSESSION WITH US GAY MARRIAGE ISSUE

Following the legalisation of gay marriage in the United States of America, Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has reacted to Nigerians who have continued to obsess about the action of the US government.

Speaking on the nine Nigerians that are about to get killed through the Sharia law, he took to Twitter to bare his mind. The younger Kuti said, “Gay marriages in America, Nigerians carry am for head. Kano State is about to kill nine people for blasphemy, an outdated crime in a world of free speech, absolute silence.”

“The similarities of religious bigots spread across Islam and Christians. Pastors insult and demean our own original culture, but we are willing to kill for Islam? Kuti asks.

EMENIKE DENIES CONVERTING TO ISLAM, I’M A STRONG CATHOLIC

The Fenerbahce striker, Emmanuel Emenike is upset with his coach especially for ‘leaking’ his personal information to the media. According to the striker, he was missing on Saturday morning when others ate breakfast and when his coach asked him why he was not there to join others, he simply said he was fasting.

Emenike is upset that his coach mistook his fasting for being a Muslim one and wondered why he had to give the press a wrong perception of his fast.

He however disclosed to the press  that though he missed his breakfast at the club because he was fasting, what he observed was a Christian fast, and not the on-going Muslim fast.

What he said; “The report that I am now a Muslim is absolute rubbish and false. I want the source of the news to re-address it.

I have no reason to convert to Islam even though I have lots of Muslim friends. Is there any big deal observing fasting during the (Muslim) fasting period?” he asked rhetorically.

“I am very disappointed seeing the news going viral because it is something I told my coach in our conversation when he asked me a question and never said I have become a Muslim. Fasting is not what everybody should know that you are doing and it’s very sad seeing this in the media.”

“I am Catholic, a strong one for that matter, and I came from Christian home. I don’t discriminate against anybody and I believe we are all equal in the presence of God, so what is the big deal in fasting? Does he know how many time I fast to get closer to God before the fasting periods? It’s really sad because I don’t see it as a big deal,” he told AfricanFootball.com.
